Mesoderm derivatives
- All muscles are derived from mesoderm except iris muscle(constrictor and dilator pupillae derived from neuroectoderm).
- Skeletal system-bone,tendon,aponeurosis
- Whole cardiovascular system(heart,vessels,lymphatics,blood cells)
- Renal system - Kidney,ureter,trigone of bladder,posterior wall urethra in female,posterior wall of prostatic urethra in male and intragladular portion of prostate(Nontrigone bladder,nonposterior wall parts of female urethra,non posterior wall of prostatic urethra and non gladular prostate are derived from endoderm)
- Reproductive system - Ovary,uterine tubes,uterus,upper part of vagina,testis,ductus deferens,epididymis,seminal vesicles.(penile urethra,distal 1/2 of labia minora,labia majora are derived from ectoderm)
- Dentine of teeth(enamel is ectodermal)
- Mesothelial lining of pleural,peritoneal,pericardial cavities
- Duamater and microglial cells(rest whole nervous system is ectodermal derived from meural crest and neural tube)
- Stroma of cornea,ciliary body,iris,sclera,vitreous.
